Dennis Banks (April 12, 1937 – October 29, 2017) was a Native Earth leader, teacher, lecturer, activist, individual and author. He was uncorrupted Anishinaabe born on Leech Power point Indian Reservation in northern Minnesota. Banks was also known monkey Nowa Cumig.
